Meet Brett Amdur

Brett M. Amdur brings to Amdur Consulting a diverse background that includes experience as a successful entrepreneur, a practicing lawyer, a law professor, a technologist, and a business development professional.

Mr. Amdur is the former president, founder, and CEO of Verilaw Technologies, Inc. Mr. Amdur led the team that grew Verilaw from its inception to become the leading provider of electronic document delivery services for lawyers and courts. Verilaw's efiling / eservice business was ultimately acquired by LexisNexis, and its case management business was acquired by Counsel Press, Inc. Mr. Amdur was also the founder and CEO of Aklero Process Solutions, which provides technology solutions for document deficiency detection in the mortgage industry. Mr. Amdur was a Vice President of Market Development at LexisNexis, where he worked on various business development and strategy initiatives. Mr. Amdur was a law professor at Villanova Law School, where he also served as the Director of the Center for Information Law and Policy. Mr. Amdur was a practicing lawyer at several prominent Philadelphia law firms, and served as a federal law clerk for the Honorable Louis C. Bechtle, Chief Judge (ret.) and The Honorable Eduardo C. Robreno of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In addition to his work in the legal field, Mr. Amdur was also a computer science masters degree candidate at Villanova University.
